Interesting, but hard to follow and response concurrently.

I cannot believe how rapidly technological growth is affecting education today. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that we need to instruct students to think about problems that don't even exist yet!

definition: concurrent: electricity in a jail cell

Reading these annonymous comments is interesting. But when do we talk face to face? Seems we're getting isolated . . .

Again, as in my previous post, what are we supposed to be teaching the kids? Anything? What about the real world of SATs?

I think kids in 3rd world countries need to worry about getting electricity before getting computers.

I think we need to teach the basics to kids before we teach them advancements in technology - some cannot even write complete sentences

I find that most in-service programs leave me with the feeling of how much I don't know. I work at St. Mark's; a high school that is well above the curve in regards to technology compared to many schools with which I have interaction.
